Basic documents required for company registration

On the first stage, it is required to provide KYC package:
A scanned copy or photo of a valid passport;
Personal identification card (ID) or driving license;
On the second stage, it is required to provide original documents’s package :
Certificate of non-criminal record from the country of citizenship, issued within the last 3 months.

The company becomes a legal entity and can commence operations only after the above steps are completed and the company is registered with the Commercial Register.

The Data Box system represents a cornerstone in the Czech Republic’s e-Government initiative, aiming to modernize and secure interactions between the state, businesses, and citizens.
Timeframe for Registration of Company in the Czech Republic
The actual registration process typically takes 5–7 business days once all required documents have been submitted. However, the document preparation phase, including the collection of necessary information, may extend the overall timeline. On average, the complete process, from initiation to final registration, can take between 4 to 6 weeks, assuming there are no complications or delays in preparing or submitting the required documentation.
